    Hi all,

    think i have a front wheel bearing gone (1.9 tdi 130)

    a bit of research on here has shown up potential quality issues with non genuine beari
    ngs


    saw some evidence of replaced with non gen - still had noise - tried lots of other expensive bits, months later, replaced with genuine bit = all fixed

    would you concurr?

    Hi

    I Can definately tell you not to touch non genuine wheel bearings... been there done that twice until i insisted on genuine and problem fixed free of charge ..

    Passats are known for eating wheel bearings so there must be a fair bit of strain going on down there....

    Definitely NOT V Tech from GSF, we have given up on them as a bad job.
