2002 2.5 tdi Can Belt changed issue - Advice needed please

this job is clearly too big for me, the shop were adamant tht the timing was right, went on about turning something around twice. how much would you check this? and could I then reclaim the cost from the fully VAT registered mechanics that did the job on mine if they did it wrong first time round.

thanks for this, I popped into teh garage and they agreed to look at the car, ive booked the car back in the garage for monday now, is there anything i need to tell them other than check the cam timing,

Check the cam timing and then check the pumps Commencement Of Injection setting.
