    new to the forum and my first post, although i have found many threads helpful. the doors on my 2000 a4 passenger sides are very stiff and i also have a squeak on the drivers side door, have tried white grease but still has not worked. you cant actually shut the passenger doors without pushing them!! any suggestions welcome, thanks, maza

    Have you had the car long?If not are the hinges rusted or neglected?I would get some penetrating oil in them to free the hinges assuming that there is no damage which has caused the problems.If the door has be badly rehung this may cause the stiffness

    I have the same problem with my 2000 A4 Avant and would like to know how to fix this.

    as mickeybutch suggested you need to spray penetrating oil into the hinges an a daily basis for a week so the oil can work in to the pins and to start to wash the corrosion out, patience is key and then get a good aerosole lubrication oil and spray well, remember that after each spray to work the doors as this will move the corrosion out of the pins
