Tow Bar Wiring

Ok, this could potentially be the wrong place to post this, so I apologise if it is! I have a tow bar on my 98 1.9tdi, but the electric's are not connected. I have had a quick look around for a wiring diagram but cannot get a definite answer. Has anyone got any tips for how to wire in just single electrics?

I taped into my tail light wiring loom just trace back from th bulbs in your tail light and connect onto the wires.

cool, will do this then if it works, I have read somewhere that it needs a relay... but not sure for what bit.
But if it works fine for you, then I'll just piggy back the original loom as you say

if you have a bulb failure light come up on you computer then you'll need the relay but they are fairly straight forward to fit however not the cheapest things on the planet for what they are lol

Yea I had no issues I have a 1997 A4 B5 2.6 and just piggybacked onto the tail light loom good luck.
