CD based sat nav updates

Anyone got hold of a recent version of this?
My disc is 2006 and works ok apart from being out of date.
All the searches I do comes up with DVD discs for later years not CD.
I wonder how recently Audi were still fitting the CD based system?

Do I have to go dealer?

I have a burned cd, not sure if you can burn a burned CD & end up with 3rd generation CD, but if you have a portable CD Burner & are ever in the Burnley area, pm me & I'll let you burn a copy. Saying that, I don't actually know what year my CD is.

Hi, is it the MMI 2g navigation CD you have by any chance? If so, no, you dont have to go to the dealer to either purchase or upgrade. Upgrade is simply by inserting the later disc

2011 disc would be great.
But where to get one without paying a fortune??

Do you have Basic Plus or High? If you have High then the link won't suit your system.

I think I have basic plus. small screen mono. Only accepts the first set of letters in the post code. Only lists route without map.
