    hi just wanted to know.where is the j519 power supply located in a 2003 audi a4 cabriolet. Iv been having issues (posted another thread) and doing some research seems like this is the cause so want to know where it is located exactlyand can go on form there. THANK YOU..

    The “onboard supply control unit”, it is located under the facia below the relay plate and is mounted horizontally. You have to take the drivers side lower dash storage compartment out to access it.

    So under the steering wheel i have to take all the plastic off and its in there? thanks

    and also if i disconnect my cluster will i be able to connect it back up without having to reprogram anything. thanks. Am i looking in the right place? thanks

    Found it. Basically my hazards flash for 4 mins. If i discconnect the wire connected to the module which controls all the outside lights ie signals brake lights etc then the hazards go off but also all the other lights.If i got a new one of these would this solve my problem. Anything would help. thanks

    Your hazards flashing for 4 minutes suggests the alarm is going off and the siren is faulty, a common issue. You can’t just plug and play with new units; they have to be coded in.

    siren is faulty? how would i check this? and how would i go about fixing this issue? thanks your help is much much appreciated. thank you. Im really stressing out just want the car fixed. thanks

    i did have the car scanned and the fault came up as 00474 control module for immobilizer no commucation? if that helps. thanks

    You need a fault code reading system such as VCDS to be able to fix this yourself.
