I had a little coming together with a small car a couple of days ago. I ran into the back of someone. The Passat is, at first sight, fine. But when you look a little closer, the front bumper seems to have 'sprung' from its fixings around the driver's side headlights.

Does anyone have any idea how you get at the fixings?

Open bonnet, front slam panel has six bolts, two above each light, two near the middle.
Under front edge of bumper 6 or 7 bolts. Inside each wheel arch, facing forwards, two nuts and one bolt. The bolt faces upward. The whole bumper cover can then be pulled forward. Watch out for any wires.

Thanks. Yesterday I found the fixings above and below, but under the inner wing I could only find one bolt each side. Do I have to remove the black underwing splash guards?
