    arghh, looking to wire up my booster digital booster aerial to the cigarette lighter power..after reading the forum I have to remove the gear trim first but it will not budge at all...i've tried pulling up but it wont' move, one clip on one side did but that's it...don't want to break the trim...so a little stuck...did you guys have to pull up very very hard to release it???...doing my head it...unless anyone knows of the power and ground cables in the headunit loom???

    Lever round the edge of the plastic trim with a flat blade or simlar to release the clips. Then it lifts up complete with trim attached to gator.

    excellent, just tried with the flat head screw driver and a bit more force and now its out...thanks for that...
