I would try a battery dis-connect first, if that doesn't work try to reset the module.

hi all, today i got a chance to get the vag com back on the car and try and sort out these airbag faults!, i tryed to reset the pass sensor but all 3 faults keep coming up. also i noticed that on my dash i can actually see a airbag warning light!! when i mean i cant see it i mean that when the ignition is turned off you can see the outline of each symbol like the engine management ect. i cannot see now outline of a picture or words saying airbag. i have googled the fault and gone to images and there are loads of images of peoples airbag light on and theres is next to the engine managment light. now the space next to my engine managment is blank there is nothing in there. can someone confirm where the light is located as i do find it very strange that there is not one. the last fault that i have got is that

01591 - Indicator Lamp for Airbag Off; Drivers Side (K144)
009 -- Open or Short to Ground - MIL ON
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 11101001
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Time Indication: 0

does this fault have something to do with it????

do i need to take the car to an audi dealer to get it looked at????

    any advice is appreciated

    many thanks
