    hi i just got hold of some new dash airvents which are chrome surround and illuminated. can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove them. cheers

    the two at the left and right of the dash are easy - prise a flat-head screwdriver underneath them and lift gently. They'll pop out and pop back in again. The middle one I've heard is difficult, as it\s easy to break clips on removal. It'll be the same technique, but maybe very carefully.

    Might help to take the radio out and open the tray doors and have a nosey behind before you go any further.

    right thanks for all your replys. yep as said left and right were easy used butter knife center was a bit harder but came out with no damage. had to take radio out anyway to wire vents up for illumination. pics below for finished result. got em off a seller on fleabay £70 delivered from spain OEM and new not chinese copies. got my old ones spare now so they will be on fleabay later.

    there are plugs attached to the back of them but my car wasnt fitted with the wiring loom to plug them into. so i just wired them to the + illumination wire that goes into the headunit and used the - from headunit aswell. works fine come on when i switch my lights on.
