Hi,

I'm strongly considering buying this car, haven't been to look at it but hoping to go on Tuesday assuming it hasn't sold. It's a quattro so no potential multitronic problems, but wanted to canvass opinion, primarily on any specific bits of the car I should look at with extra care, and also value. Any replies greatly appreciated.

It seems ok, if a bit expensive. Try and get a grand off, or at least get them to
do the timing and auxiliary belts, water-pump and transmission fluid. Good luck!

Wow, that seems like a lot of money.

The wheels look non-standard, the tyres are cheap, and at that age the timing belt etc is due which will cost you a grand (at Audi) if it hasn't already been done.

Look for the usual electrical gremlins due to water ingress, and unusual vibrations and/or noises when driving (lots of CV joints on a quattro).

Having said that, looks like a nice spec.
