prob with caravelle relay 102

Hi guys, having a prob with my 00 caravelle, the glow plug relay 102 is melting in to the board. it starts some times then ill be driving round and smell burning, iv replaced the relay twice and same thing, but its getting worse. the light for the glow plugs comes on then goes off but if it goes off to quick i know shes not going to start., i was told by someone that i need a new relay board,

anybody any info on this would be very much appreciated as 6 kids and no car is no good

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem you described (relay 102 gets hot). Did you find the cause?
I have been starting the caravelle and pulling out the relay, but for some reason my wife no longer wants to dive the car - especially with six kids in it - and a big garage bill is not convenient at the moment (if ever!)

Any help appreciated.
