Hi all, just a quick post to celebrate my 250,000 mile.

Can anyone else match this? The old girl is a 96 A4 se Auto. Not as smooth as she used to be, but never let me down.

275,000 on 97 A4 1.9Tdi 110 Avant - mine since new!

Unfortunately the clutch bearing went on me this morning, so I'm in my 01 160,000 Skoda Octavia 1.9Tdi.

Turbo went a while ago, so there's not much power left, but no problem for my 90 mile daily round trip commute and still returning over 50 mpg.

Tough decision to make now - do I repair or scrap!

I had an 96 A4 1.8 SE which had 220k on it - i ran perfectly, and only went wrong when I attacked the suspension - even then the engine was still sweet - you can see her by clicking into my profile and looking at the pics - its the low silver audi.

The twins(2 a4 2.8Q) in the family have 128,000 (mums) s-reg and 130,000 t-reg(mine). need to get them on the rolling road for a week flat-out to overtake everyone!!

and my '01 Skoda Octavia 1.9Tdi has 163,000 - bought it 3 years old at about 120,000 - not used for commuting!

just got an audi a4 1.8t for £300 with 160000 on the clock

I had an Audi 100 which covered 290000 miles before being scrapped, I have owned a Peugeot 205 Diesel from new which has done 475000 miles and just passed its MOT last week. My A4's have 182000 miles and at the opposite end the B6 has still to turn 16000 miles.

ill try and add myn a v6 tdi passat on a 2002 it has 105000 on it lol

I suppose that I had better add that my current A4 has 136k on it - silky smooth as expected
