I'm not sure what a "D interface" is, but VAGCOM 409 will activate cruise control if it is registered/fully activated. A license will cost you $99 from Ross-Tech.

According to the guy I spoke to at Vagparts, Audi's computers will tell them the current code for the appropriate replacement part, not necessarily the code for the part that was fitted originally to your car. So, many people find that when they ask Audi if they have the F module, Audi go "F, no, we don't make an F" because currently, they don't... A scan with VAGCOM (or a look at the sticker on the module itself) will confirm that they did however make one when the car was new...

This comes up many times in the conversations about cruise control retrofit!!
'53 Smart Roadster Coupe - So much fun, so little cost to run!!

'03 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H - Currently off the road due to binning it on the M1!

'02 A4 3.0 Quattro Sport - Gone but missed daily!
