Hello all , hope somebody can help .

I have just replaced the ecu in my multitronic gearbox (1.8t ) did the gearbox oil fill as per instructions ( thanks crasher ) and fired it up .

The PRNDS light is now contantly flashing (it would only do this after about 25 minutes of driving before ) and I guess it is now in limp home mode or similar .

I didnt have any diagnostic kit with me today so i couldnt clear the faults and try again , but do you think this might work or am I looking at something more sinister .

The box seemed to function properly up to a point , I had drive and could even effect a shift if i put it into tiptronic mode ( + / - )

    any ideas ?

    thanks Willsan

Not sure if replacing is merely a plug and play, but would have to be programmed for the car?
