    Hi all

Can anyone give me some initial settings for the 07 Front Control Head, I have done the 5570 update and it seems some channel settings have changed. Eg, channel 19 has gone from 65535 to 51 !!!!
So if some can help it would be appreciated

    Thanks

Thanks A8 but I don't see any value for channel 19, having just checked my notes I can see that it had the same value as channel 18 -65535 but now 19 is only 3. Have just tried to change it to 65535 but it won't let me.
I've also enabled the hidden menu but the Battery Indicator and Oil Level do not appear anywhere.

ignore channel 19 it has no impact

you must re initiate battery display etc via adaptation channels in address 07 and not by hidden menu

so goto address 07 channel 2 delete the value stored and add value 32 and save

now goto channel 111 and set to 1 and the mmi reboots

    battery display will now appear

now you can work your way through the functions via adaptation to re install your user settings and remember to use channel 111 to reboot and apply changes
vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs

Thanks A8 tech. It's my first job when I get home tomorrow. It's really quite interesting but also a bit scary in case things go wrong. Luckily for the forum members we have someone like you that we can turn to, and I for one are very grateful.
