    hi

im having power loss on my audi put it on dignsotics its showing boost pressure cotrol error 17965.

i bought a n75 valave from audi part number 8E906627 C the old one i removed part number is the same but has a A at the end instead of c.

i put this in and the car is performing even worse is that the right part number or should it be 8E906627 A.

    THANKS

Isn't 17965 a overboost turbo code check your map sensor could be stuck open or n75 valve bad if non of them fix your problem it could be your turbo actuator sticking carbon build up in your turbo and the vanes sticking then you could either strip and clean or put a recon unit in next time you post model and engine code would help

Look at your timing belt cover on front on engine or sticker in boot and look in the service book it will be there three letter code
And one more thing if you fund the code go on a site called vagcat and register for free and have a browse in there parts Catalogue
To look for the part number for your car ok hope that helps

To get the partnumber people on here would need your engine code or bhp then someone can then search based on your code for the numbers

Ok the part you bought is the wrong one the one with the c on the end is for 2002 onwards take it back and get the one with the a on the end And also have a look at your map sensor it's on the intercooler pipe on the top with two screws in it take it out if it's got oil on it clean in with some brake cleaner and see if any difference
