Interesting to see that this is a UK market restriction, perhaps meaning that while it is technically possible to implement simultaneous HFP bluetooth connection and in-dash SIM use, Audi UK will not entertain it for reasons more to do with not opening themselves to legal action? If this is the case, there might be hope of a solution by recoding the 5F unit or changing module adaptation. This is pure speculation on my part, I must add. I just wish I could get my hands on a car from a foreign market to see the coding and adaptation values. I have posted a request on a US Audi forum to see if anyone from the US can provide the coding and adaptation values from their car, but so far no luck...
