ABC V6 Temp sensor, please advise

Hi gang , after various chats with Crasher and other members aswell as other tradespersons, I am keen to know if the temp sensor mentioned as being a potential offender in relation to my emissions fail, is the plug in affair located just above the bottom hose on the radiator on the drivers side of the rad (right hand drive ).
If this is not the same item, where is it located and roughly how much would one cost?
'95 coupe 2.6 abc v6 manual front drive

I have just replaced the rad and the sensor in it with an item from a dissmantlers and believe the sensor to be ok as the fans trip in and out when the gauge shows around 90 degrees c.
Or is this sensor just for the fans and gauge and therefore another one lurks elsewhere
