Audi A4 - rattling rear suspension

it sounds like a broken spring on the rear rattleing around but they look ok? my brother said it looked on the motorway as if there was no damping. strange. i can only hear it with the window down but it is pretty loud! i have jacked the car up and had a good look and pulled on everything and all seems OK and i cant find anything loose that might be causing it.

its a 1999 A4 B5 1.9TDI 110 SE with sports suspension and its the passenger side thats effected.

HELP! its doing my head in and sounds pretty worrying.

dropped the damper; checked the top nut and its not that, everything seems tight.

everyone that has listened to it says its coming from the centre of the wheel; must be brakes. will investigate further at the weekend.

in the mean time; any ideas?

still jingles. and getting louder. when i pull the handbrake on a click it stops the jingleing... i think it must be brakes (its the only bit i havent looked at) but cant see anything loose or rattleing! HELP! its doing my head in!

might be worth jacking rear up and checking wheels and bearings no play.
