Hi all. I've searched other posts but can't find an answer.

My key fob has stop working, I presume a flat battery. I had to lock it using the key earlier as I popped into a shop. When I came out & unlocked it with the key the alarm went off.
    How do I prevent this?
I'm at work & will get back to my car at 2am. Obviously I don't want to set the alarm off at that time of night!
Any quick answers would be very appreciated.

    Cheers.

If you use the key you have to get the key in the igniton and it turned on in under 30 seconds or the alarm goes off.
