So, stuck the car on Vag-com prior to fitting my new crank position sensor and got the following errors. (The car is now running smooth as silk thanks to new sensor and manifold breather pipe but a little concerned about these codes).

    1.8T Quattro Saloon.

P0238 - Turbocharger Boost Sensor (A) Circ. High Input. Intermittent.

P1556 - Charge pressure control value below lower control limit. Intermittent.

P1103 - Bank1-Sensor1, Heater Circuit. Performance too low. Intermittent.

P1136 - Bank1, mixture adaptation (add). System too lean. Static.

    P0011 - A Camshaft Position (Bank1). Timing over-advanced or System Performance. Intermittent.

Any ideas to any of the faults greatly appreciated thanks peeps as i'm out of my depth now

Clear the codes, run the car for a day or two and
post any codes that come back.

    Regards
    Jim

Had the faults cleared after fitting the crank sensor and all is sweet so far so hopefully they were just due to the one fixed problem.

However the bank1 errors have occured before maybe 2-3 times but are always cleared when the car had another fix (fuel pump, radiator, spark plugs etc) and none of the garages really mentioned them or the cause.

I must admit she seems very thirsty at the moment!
