I asked an independent who said the cam belt etc should be changed at 60K miles/4 years (whichever comes first). I phoned a few Audi dealers and they said 75K miles or 5 years (whichever comes first). So I phoned Audi HQ and they also said 75K/5 years.

    Its a 1.9tdi (100) on an 04 plate.

Please can anyone clarify if it is 60k or 75k ?

It depends how you feel cos nobody can tell how long the belt will last.No two cars are driven identically with the same strain on identical belts.I had an Accord once that went 134000 m on the same belt cos Honda did not recommend that the belltsb changed and my sons girlfriends Polo went 12 yrs until it went for scrappage last year without ever having a new belt.If yours has been driven carefully I would be happy to follow Audi advice the inde may be looking for work
