    Default Changing Flywheel Advice needed – 18-04-2011,11:32 AM
    I have a B5.5 AWX engine and FHN gearbox.

    Can anyone confrim when removing the gearbox does the engine have to be tilted on its mounts.

    Yes in the sense that with the gearbox mount off, you have more clearance at a slight downward angle rather than straight back.

    Do you mean disconnect the front mount, and tilt the engine on the
    side mounts?
    Its not necessary, and it means more work on the service position. But i
    can see how it might help with access to the top bell-housing bolts.
