I bought VCDS from Gendan over the weekend and the hardware arrived this morning and I completed a Auto Scan to see if there were any surprises.

    Everything was fine until this:

I've just got it as well! Been playing with it over the weekend and here's what I found:

Once you've run the full scan, there's a button labelled 'Clear all DTCs'. This clears the fault codes and then you can rescan.
If that's the only code you have, it's quicker/easier to just scan that module. If you go into the engine control module and click on 'Fault Codes' there's then a button to clear the saved codes which then rescans the module to see if its an actual problem.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks I'll keep that in mind and look put for it! I'm like a kid with a new toy atm, just looking around the program to see what it has to offer.

I'll clear it and run a scan tomorrow

Cleared the codes and the fault occurred again I'll do some Googling and have a look on RossTech Wiki site

I've been playing around with VCDS all afternoon and so much to an extent that that battery warning came on!! Whoops!
