I am a bit stuck as to where to take off the 12v 30 amp supply for my trailer socket.. 2001 Passat Tdi. The last car I fitted towing electrics to was my Skoda Octavia, on this car there is a relay panel under the dash.. But the Passat seems a bit more elusive! If all else fails I guess a take off direct from the battery through an in line fuse would do the job.. Any suggestions??

Is this what your looking for? Remove the drivers-side lower dash panel.

    Regards
