Today I did a quick enhancement detail on a friends new works van, I had polished the centre’s of the side’s and rear doors a couple of weeks ago so he could get his signage put on so i knew a decent difference could be made to the paint.

Products and equipment used

Dodo Lime prime
Uber microfiber towels
3m yellow pads 150mm 75 mm
Valet pro bilberry wheel cleaner
Valet pro tyre gel
Valet pro orange pre wash
Megs hyper wash
Various wheel brushes
Makita rotary polisher
Karcher pressure washer
Noodle wash mitt
Sheepskin wash mitt
Microfiber drying towel
Snow foam gun
Masking tape
Megs 16 wax
Megs APC
Chemical guys wet mirror finish

Started by giving the van thick coating of foam made up of a strong mix of Megs APC

Whilst this did its stuff I cleaned the wheels using the bilberry wheel cleaner and various wheel brushes and the noodle wash mitt

This was then blasted off with the pressure washer, and then the van was given another coat of APC foam and washed using megs hyper wash and the 2 bucket method and a sheepskin wash mitt. Dried using a microfiber drying towel.

Decided to do a couple of quick 50/50 before getting on with the full van

Then started to work my way round the rest of the van

After polishing the van was given a coat of the wet mirror finish again using the rotary polisher and a small finishing pad, this was done a panel at a time and buffed using the uber microfiber towels. The van was then given 2 coats of the Megs 16 wax and again buffed using the uber microfiber towels, tyres giving a coat of tyre dressing.
