I have tested the adapter and everything works perfectly - even has SDS enabled .

Please could someone trace their double din climate control unit and post it with some dimensions on, this would save me (and probably a few others thinking of the upgrade) some time and worry.

I have found a thread (on another Audi forum) that relates to the microphone cables that need to be used to get the microphone to work with the RNS-E (it is for an A3). I believe the cable runs down the passenger side (RHD) door pillar and down to the phone prep/bluetooth control box under the passenger seat, is that correct? Is the wire the same green/black combination as the A3 uses? Anyone got any pictures that would show where the cable runs and where to add the necessary wiring?

    Many thanks

To properly trace round the cc unit it will need removing. Easy enough but probably not for a week night.
