I have an Audi A3 1.9 TDI SE X reg (2000). I have looked in the handbook and I think I have the standard version of the of the dash display.

The screen is split into 2 halves, the bottom half goes through a system check when the ignition is switched on followed by a large OK. I assume the top half is for displaying faults or warnings such low fuel ect. According to the owners manual it should showing the outside temperature but it is not. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

You can tell me as well, 2001 SE TDI with no reading!!

Get the feeling it is (was) an "extra" you paid for, not a "feature" !!!
