    Default Cylinder 2 Misfire - connected to refurbished Alternator? – 03-04-2011,08:10 PM
    I am having a problem with my 03 TDI Audi A4 and according to the codes 'Cylinder 2 is misfiring' and their is an 'electrical malfunction'.

    I recently had to refurbish the Alternator in the car and I am wondering would this new problem be anyway related to the alternator?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Unlikely to be related to the alternator replacement, more like your
    injector wiring loom is fried. Costs £50 and takes around an hour
    to fit.
