    Default Votex alarm location? – 05-07-2007,07:49 PM
    Hi all,
    My alarm seems to be working but no sound does anyone know where the siren is located it is a Votex alarm on a 1998 (s) VW Passat.

    LHS of the boot behind the cover and that little socket thingumy you use to disable the alarm.

    Thanks, do you mean on the right? that's where my socket point is? i'll see if i can get the lining out.

    Found my alarm but nothing seems to be unplugged there is a wire going from the alarm to the interior of the boot with an end that looks like it may be something you might hold a fob to in order to activate any idea's what this is for? could this turn off my alarm sound
