I would like to get cruise control retrofitted to my car. I only have the standard steering wheel so from reading the sticky thread I believe I need the full kit.

I live in Bracknell and work in Camberley. Anyone know of a good indy who would do the work?

Either that or I could ask Camberley Audi to do it as their service area is really close but thats likely to be a bit more expensive.

I live in Bracknell, I have full VCDS, I could scan your car to see what part No's you have to save buying bits you don't need.
I could assist with a retrofit....

Thanks Kite. I will speak to the dealer when it goes in for a service in a few weeks. I would prefer to get a company to do it professionally but if there are non nearby I will look into doing it myself.

Kite's offer is worth taking up... found a few bits on my Cab that needed sorting without me even knowing it was a fault... plus sorted a few trick bits for it...

    :-)

Thanks everyone for your help especially Kite for his kind offer.

I contacted Camberley Audi today and they will retrofit it for £217 including VAT which I think is fairly reasonable. They are within easy walking distance of where I work so its easy to drop the car off to them in the morning and walk into work from there so no need to take time off work or hang around while it is done.

Its all done. A bit of a **** up by Camberley Audi as they didnt tell me I might need the control module which would be extra and then though I had been advised of it so went ahead and fitted it anyway.
They realised their mistake and offered to drop the labour charge so it came to only about a pound more than the quoted price.

Pretty happy with their service and the offer of dropping the labour charge was their first offer.
I just wish the dealer I bought the car from valued customer service as much.
