passat tdi awx

i have a passat tdi awx and if i drive it gently it is fine thought the revs but if you accelerate hard it then lacks power and has bad hesitation almost like a misfire due to lack of fuel i have replaced fuel filter and if you pull the hose off the fuel tank pump and turn the ignition on fuel is pumped out but the jet of fuel only reaches about 1.5 inches hight and doesn't seem to have any pressure to it is this normal

you need to get codes read, it could be anything, and you have already paid out for a fuel filter.
be kind on yourself, get it read and save some cash,

never pulled the fuel line off mine to see how much pressure you should get (some clever people on here will probably be able to tell you) but as the fuel is flooded through the head channels and dispensed under great pressure from the individual (PD) unit injectors I wouldn't expect too much pressure from the filter outlet?

Hesitation/misfire and no codes. Change the injector loom. Tank pump is a lift pump to get fuel to the filter. No pressure needed really.
