Number plate lens

I managed to break both number plate lenses on my 2001 saloon ( well they just crumbled ) trying to replace bulbs. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket ones available or will I have to take my luck to scrap yards or the dealers at £14.80 +vat each. The aftermarket ones I have seen on auction sites are for the later b6

Same thing happened to me a few weeks back. The sockets where they go into were all rusty on mine too. Had to clean the rust off and re-paint around them. I sealed the new ones in with mastic.

I don't know of any after market ones, but if you intend to keep the car I'd be inclined to get the original parts, they're not that expensive.
