Looking for van hire in Notts? fine I cant find a problem with this firms rentals set up, but rent one long term, much like a lease without the big up front fees/deposit, and after 18mths, you can continue renting, with the obvious service/repairs covered by them, or buy the van from them for £1.
The concept of it all is fantastic, and even better, no credit checks, just one months rental up front. As this lot are a small set up with big plans, they are advancing way too quick for their own good, and cannot manage everyone efficiently.
So to conclude the intro, great if you are fairly local to them....if not, here's a list of major mistakes they made and I experienced.
    1. SERVICJNG/REPAIRS.....They will do the basics required, or should I say, it was unethical for them to travel so far to sort this out, so I ended up having things done local to me, and they pay the bill, fine. Initial prob here, is I am doing all the running around to arrange it all, plus having to sort van hire out my end too.

    2. VAN HIRE COSTS....Whilst vans in garage, you are grizzled at with the well known phrase, which in other words means they are tight..."Oh I'm not happy with that bill, we can get it done for half the price here"......Solution?.....no prob guys, then I'll sit back and let you run one down to me from Notts......221 miles
    from me!

    3. ISSUES DISREGARDED....Important parts needin to be changed were repeatedly ignored by them...this includes a refusal by them to pay garage bills
like when water pump was shot, they thought it ok to put old belt back ...

    4. INTERCOOLER......Waited 8 weeks for them to get one down to m, to fit myself, as they didnt want to spenfd money on garage bills

    5. FRONT BELT TENSIONER.....7 Weeks wait.....in the nd done it all myself.

    6. COOLANT LEAK........From day one always had a small leak from the top rad pipe housing and after a while, checked it out to find one bolt had been sheared at the head.....and left it patched up.

    7. SHOT ENGINE......Tensioner done too late, engine went on me, and they come down to pick up...not by recovery.....but to drive back, then tried passing the buck to me..

    ************8 months later*********
Engine gone again, and in the process, find that I couldnt do an oil change, as they had wlelded the sump plug on

Finally at one stage in the last 2 months, they were going totally against their contract and refusing to pay for contractual servicing and repairs...purely trying to cut their losses

CONCLUSION.....Nice fleet of VW vans, but shame about the rest. They never forgot to take ya money every month, but would forget your existance, and not deal with things, e.g starter motor needs replacing....I can do this myself and source part same day. Forgetting the fact that I was removing their would be labour costs etc, they would insist they have one and will send it to me!
Also not forgetting they run a parcel delivery franchise, you;d still be waiting days later!
Overall, they mean well, shoddy mechanics work, inc ill fitted main bearing shells!ruined engine!...ok if your day job can wait days for them to move
