Has anyone else suffered from an intermittent problem with the Rear Parking Sensors that are factory fitted on Octavias? After a period of rain or following a car wash one or more sensors occasionally show on the dash display as full on, with the associated beep. This renders the sensors as next to useless. After a while the problem stops.

I have also managed to push one of the sensors into the bumper whilst trying to dry it!! It appears that the sensors are held in place by double sided tape. Seems a bit cheap and tacky on what is otherwise an excellent car.

If anyone has a fix for this I would appreciate hearing it,

    Thanks
