    Hope you guys can help me
    I own a passat 18se x reg, every now and then i go to start my car but it justs turns over and wont start up, then about a hour later i try again and it starts, but now it seems to take days before it decides it want to start. I have had it on fault reader and its saying no faults. Thanks

    Has it been serviced recently?

    Might just need filter service and a good blast through with an additive.

    Agreed, clean the plugs check your oil/water to make sure they're not mixing ie headgasket

    Its had oil change and that but im not sure about spark plugs so il check them, what additive shall i use and thanks for all your help

    Search on here but i use redex and don't spare the horses

    Def change fuel filter and air filter unless you know its been done in the last 20k

    Ive also noticed that my revs keep going up and down whilst stood still on tic over ive put new plugs in and red ex

    Give the redex a few days to clear through.

    Look to be getting a decent service and ask them to plug it in and or have a look

    I had similar issues and was a new cam sensor and crankshaft sensor that solved ot
