Hi I have a passat 1.8t -99 that has some problem that I havent been able to locate, it occurs most often after driving on a highway for some distance when you break at the exit of the road, the engine just dies. I have replaced the lambda probes a few weeks ago but that didnt solve it. vag-com doesnt find anything except
01329 - Convenience System Data Bus in Emergency Mode
    35-10 - - - Intermittent
wich I suspect has with my car having an alarm system that replaced/disabled the original remote.
I suspect it could have something with the idling to do, normally the car idles at about 800 rpm but when breaking it sometimes dips to 600 and then bounces back to 800, when the engine dies it seems as it doesnt "bounce" back up from the 600 bottom and then dies.

I'd look for a vacuum leak.

Does it otherwise idle ok ?

Clean the throttle body. The idle stabilisation is not working properly.
