    Default 1998 A4 gearbox oil – 10-03-2011,08:59 PM
    Hi all, i am going to give my 1998 A4 2.4 v6 saloon a proper servicing as it has been neglected over the past year and i am going to change the gearbox oil ( its a manual ) as the mileage is 145000 and i dont know its history but i cant find how much oil the gearbox holds and what oil is supposed to go in it, so i would be grateful if anyone can help me out, thanks bigengines.

    oh and can anyone tell me if my car has a pollen filter fitted ?

    “SAE 75 W 90” (synthetic oil) ca 2.5 ltr and your vehicle has a pollen filter

    Is there a guide any where on how to do this Gearbox oil change on a 2.4 V6 manual?
