Audi Symphony LCD Screen Issues

Hello, I'm after a bit fo help / advice

My symphony double DIN head unit has dveloped a fault on the screen. It has a line going through it horizontally. This is annoying because it looks bad!!!! when it first started happening it'd go away after a while on a long journey but now stays on all the time.

My main question is, can i replace the screen or while i need to replace the whole unit and if i can replace the screen how do i go about sourcing one.

Sourcing an LCD screen will be very hard, as will stripping down your unit to fit it.

Far easier to buy a second-hand complete unit from Ebay IMHO.

have a look at the Stafford Audi shop on the bay, they may have a refurbed unit..
