Hi I am thinking of doing the front wheel bearings myself as I have access to a 50 ton press. Quick question does the lower arm need to be disconnected from the upright to get at the 4 retaining bolts for the hub? or can they be accessed by turning the steering on full lock? If anyone has got the instructions or diagrams would be appreciated. I just want to get fully prepeared before I do this. I did do a search and nothing on a B7 and on the B6 just said it was easy to remove

Are you sure the wheel bearing needs doing?
Reason i ask is that i thought i had a wheel bearing gone but then read some posts here about some tyres that can make the same droneing noise.
When i changed my tyres, the noise went away.
    Something to think about.
