Just took my A4 3.0 TDI SE Q in for it's second year 20,000 mile "free" service and I was a bit disapointed that some things weren't done?

Little things like greasing the door, bonett, and boot locks, can't see that the wheels have ever been off? and only the Oil Change box was ticked in the service booklet? not any of the other boxes???

Dispite the service guy on receiption saying that all filters, pollen air etc would be changed?

So I can check for my piece of mind? can someone tell me where the pollen filter is housed? I can't see where it would be, there must be a removable hatch somewhere, where it pops in? and do I have to unscrew the lid to inspect for a clean air filter too?

Also there were slight scratches across the rear boot lid where it looked like they had dragged an air hose or something across the car boot!!!

I was not impressed for an Audi dealer, do you think because it was a free service they only do the bare minumum?

The wheels do not have to be removed for the service, I never remove them unless there is a good reason although it is nice to de-corrode the hubs and wheels but this takes over half an hour. I doubt anything other than the oil and pollen filter were changed, the latter is under the screen in the drip tray. All I can say is there aint no such thing as a free lunch…

An update on my 20,000 mile service.
I had the Audi receiptionist call me this morning, asking if everything was OK? I told her about the slight scratches on the boot lid, which I had since polished out, then I went and checked my service booklet again, to find they hadn't ticked the fact that the pollen filter had been changed? So this morning I thought I would check! I opened up the three little thumb screws, slid the cream slidy thing across at out dropped a drity yes drity pollen filter complete with loads of dead flies
    I was not amussed..
I phoned the service department back straight away and started by explaining that the little check box in the service booklet hadn't been ticked? The service guy said YEP its on our system as being changed just tick the box sir? I was livid!! So I said how come there is an old filter, probably as old if not older than the car, in there full of died flies lol. There was a moment of silence, he said your'd better bring the car back to us sir?
So I wisked the car back to them and they dually changed it, and said it must of been a mistake? Any how after a 15 minute chat with their service manager I got them to give me a 1 liter top-up of engine oil for my inconveince.
But it just shows you can't even trust a main dealers (Ever Audi) to do things right 1st time, anyone else would have probably never checked this fact?
You can't pull the wool over my eyes lol
    Beware!!!!
