Hi all, I've just got my base model Bluemotion 60plate Golf, although it's a bit low on spec I find it an ok drive and really economical.

However, the drivers seat is just too narrow! I'm a little bigger than the average due to a lot of gym time but simply can't get my back between the bolsters, as it's a company car they have only offered me a swap into a 58 plate Astra, obviously I don't want to do this at all.

What seats can you fit into the Mk6 Golf, will a Passat seat fit in? i.e. same rails and air bag plugs etc.....

I don't wanna lose the little Bluemotion

    HELP!

I would think you could fit any Golf seats if you've got the time and money. I think the chassis is still Mk5 so those are an option.

Your still showing A3 2.0 Tdi 140 Sport 3dr, Maritius Blue. in your sig. Do you still have this A3, can you add your new one as well?

Cheers Keith, I'm covering 30k per yr and need the comfort, had 2x B6 Passat sports previously and found those seats to be brill for the long journey, obviously it'll look a bit strange but it's literally just for work so not too fussed.

Hoping someone out there can confirm the seat rails from most VAG cars are the same so it's just a bolt in job, replies welcome.

    Cheers.

Oh, A3 gone sadly Keith, changed the signature now.

I doubt the passat seats will fit in the space between the central console and the b pillar unless you can have the seat set high where there may be a bit more room.

Either way i can't see the company being happy you driving around in a modified car
