4 TBC AV Unit Solution

Hi Tom, I'm about to (if my mate doesn't buy it off me) fit my DVD with a switch, I'm going to get an illuminated rocker switch with 3 poles, 1 in 1 out and ground, I'm going to break the perm live wire and loop the switch to it, the switch I'm going to either fit in the centre console cup holders out of sight or the blanks on the side of the gear stick, this should work as well as a switched live but will mean I can control the unit without the key in, hopefully it will sort the drain out at the sametime.

Sounds like a plan matey, mines been alright since I ran it through the fusebox, however it loses radiostations so I've wired in a small 12v battery, just need to finish it and I will report result after I get back from France, doing 400 miles tomorrow! How do you know you will have battery drain?
