    Hi chaps,

Last week i picked up my latest motor, its a 2000-X plate TDI SPORT 6 speed in black.

The sport pack as well as having the lovely 6 speed gearbox etc... has this really cheap looking wood inserts everywhere which is horrid IMO.

Can they easily be replaced with standard surrounds and standard door handles?

Yeah you can replace them not a problem, what looks nice is if you can get the brushed aluminium inserts. Becareful when taking off the surounds next to the air con unit and stereo cause they are held in by small clips on the dash that break really easy.

aye... somone on another forum has mentioned that but said they cost about £200 so i was thinking i may put up with the plastic wood for a while yet.

Cheers for the input on the clips.. Should come in handy later on im sure.
