Hi,

First post here, so hello to everyone! I am picking up my new 1.6FSi Match on Friday and want to get my iPod ready for the go as I have to drive 300 miles straight away! Anyway, what do I name my Playlists to get them to work with the integrated iPod connect/CD player on the dash. I have seen two suggestions - one is CD1, CD2 etc... another is that they must be alphabetical (eg. A list, B list etc). Can anyone advise me which is correct as there is a particular playlist I want for the first drive?

Anyway I am sorry if this has been explained before but I couldn't find it after searching.

Hi.
As i understand it, the rcd head unit uses the 6 buttons, 3 on either side of the display. threrfore you apparently have to organise you ipod in to 6 catogories, ie dads, wifes, kids, driving, cheese, miscelaneous to suggest 6 playlist names. having done this each one should be selectable by the 6 afore mentioned buttons.

If it is your 1st trip, just load your ipod with what you want for that trip. sort the rest out later.
