hi mate my 105 has been mapped to 140 and had no problems, now you have blown a fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet, the 140 2 lts have the same throttle flap issue and blow the fuse, if you chech all the fuse's in the box near the battery and replace the blown fuse, then have the codes deleted that should cure your fault, hope this helps mate

Cheers mate.. But the fuse blew and the light came on again and it read the manifold flap intake- no signal, which is the actual flap itself again which i had changed. So could I have bought a faulty part? As I purchased it from eBay.

Hi. I had codes p3102 throttle body and p0691.. Golf gt tdi 140 2.0 mk 5

I've got a new throttle body put in and replaced all glow plugs as required. But the yellow emission control light is still on. I've been to see a garage and mechanic say's i need a new fan but the car isn't overheating, and the coolant is topped up. It's on 90 which is a good temp, i get hot air when i turn on the heating inside. The mechanic did check the fuse box too and say's that's fine too. I'm yet to check the fuse box myself to see if the fuse is blown but he said he replaced it when he installed the throttle body. Which fuse am i looking for for p0691 cooling fan? Is it F8, also is F8 that same one used for the throttle body? If the fuse is fine, and the fan is fight... what else could it be? Because i don't want to buy a new fan if it's working fine.

I look forward to your reply.

    Thanks.
