I know this mod will not appeal to everyone but today I de-chromed my window surrounds and strip on boot.
I used plastic dip. I also done the grill again. Only a few pics but gives you an idea.
I've also got some carbon fibre pillars coming in from the States. Should be here soon (touch wood)

Hi, I like the look of the window ones. What does the process involve, removing the parts I presume (how easy was it to get the window side trims off). Mine have been scratched to h@ll and back. Grill one good, but prefer the four rings to. Silver- but that's me. Rob

Actually I never removed anything. I just masked everything off and done them on the car! I watched a few you tube videos first.... Not much prep involved other than give them a bloody good clean!

    Couple of more pics...

I tried plastidip but didn't like the finish so opted for vinyl.

    Still, looks mint! Nice work.

Y'know? Thought I would hate it, but actually, I think that's not half bad! Would look killer with darker paint but I still think it adds to the look. Good job.

Looks fab mate, I have an avant in the same colour and I think that will be my next mod but not sure about windows trims black and then the roof rails chrome. Mite just do the grille. Any ideas are welcome :-)

I actually think it looks better on a lighter colour than it would on (for instance my) black.

Far better than cloudy plastichrome IMO
