Auto Dimming Mirror

Evening I've got a 2001 passat sport, and the mirror has always worked in the past, no problems. I noticed the other night that it's not dimming any more. About a month ago I installed a Parrot H/F Kit, with the Mic mounted on the interior light, I wonde rif perhaps I've disturbed something? Does anyone know what wires going to the mirror should have power, and when, i.e. lights on or not, ignition on etc? That way I can check it at the plug. Also, I assume it shares a fuse with something, so to rule that one out, which fuse is it? There's nothing else not working that I know of.

Check fuses 24 and 31, fuse 31 is for the mirror.

Thanks for that, just checked both fuses and all are ok. Now I need to hunt the wiring diagram for it

Judging by the various forums, I dare say none of these mirrors on these cars work at 6, let alone 9 years old!
It is usually the mirror itself that is faulty.
