Hi guys, my temp gauge is stuck on half from the moment i turn the ignition on.
I did take the clusters out to see how easy it would be to fix the ld screen.. but all i did was move clusters out, and in.. didnt take anything off the back..

just thinking, could the climate controll have an effect on the needle, as it has been playing up..

See what happens if you remove the contact from the coolant temp sender, can't see the climate controll causing the fault.

Replacing the coolant temp sensor/sender would be the most
    economic component to start with.

CTS was replaced a year ago.. just hope i have not upset sometning when taking clocks out... il give CTS a go, see if it changes.. measure resistance.. or get a variable resister and change settings and see if gauge responds..

removed the cts plug, and whe ignition is turned on, still jumps to half, or 1 mark past half..

confused.. must be picking up resistance from somewhere..
as when i kill the ignition, it drops back to 0..
